The Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Alkaila, issued a warning today, Wednesday, that the fuel supply necessary to operate electricity generators in Gaza hospitals will be depleted tomorrow.
The minister stated in remarks to Palestinian media that this will exacerbate the already catastrophic conditions in hospitals, especially after the electricity is expected to be cut off within hours from now.
Israel cut off the electricity supply to the Gaza Strip on Monday, in what they described as a comprehensive blockade in response to a sudden and extensive attack by the Hamas movement.
